On the 16th of July the Prime Minister Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz signed the bill on enlarging the Białowieża National Park by 100%. It is the great success of the Workshop of All Beings and other environmental organizations fighting for the protection of Białowieża medieval forest. But still only about 16% of the forest is protected and the campaign must be continued.
