We are an Italian consulting firm working in joint venture with an English consulting firm. At present we are evaluating for the Commission of the European Communities, environmental projects in the fields of water supply, sanitation and solid waste management, few projects are also concerning forests and urban environment.

We are now trying to extend our activity in the Central Eastern European Countries: Slovak Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Rumania. We do not know exactly which type of activity may concern our future work, but it should be very close to our present activity, that is: technical assistance to the CEC Brussels and tech-economic analysis of projects before the financing, during the implementation and after their completion, Ex-Post evaluation. Visiting the sites, meet with the concerned authorities and prepare an evaluation report. The evaluation work will mainly consider a technical evaluation of the design criteria and the social and environmental analysis of the project needs.

We would like to contact firms and/or engineers with a university degree in the above fields and with various degree of experience. From few years of experience to senior engineers. Senior engineers in specific fields will help in the evaluation of works as experts; younger engineers will help to collect data, performing calculation, writing reports, etc.

The work will not be for the immediate, but we are starting to organise in order to be ready as soon as the work comes out to present our interest to the CEC and in this concern we would like to have the co-operation of engineers, economists and consulting firms.
