TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Milieukontakt Oost-Europa wants to express our support for the efforts of the Publishing House 'Green Brigades'. We find the activities of the Publishing House very helpful for the development of the Polish Environmental Movement. Also for many foreign partners, ecological organizations, fund and foundations Green Brigades is an important and indispensable source of information on environmental activities in the country.

The Publishing House 'Green Brigades' has been operating since 1989.

Since the beginning Milieukontakt strongly supported the magazine as a forum for environmental groups in Poland. One cannot underestimate its important role in creating a permanent dialogue among environmental NGO's in Poland. Green Brigades contributes to the development of the Third sector in Poland but also in other countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

We do hope that Green Brigades will have the chance to continue their activities and keep on publishing the magazine 'Green Brigades-Zielone Brygady".

I'm always open to give more information on our opinion about the magazine and the organisation Green Brigades.
