After years of tests we managed to produce a disposable dish made out of wheat bran. Bowls, plates, trays, dish plates, and other dishes are hundred percent natural (nothing but wheat bran) without any preservatives and bonding substances. They are brown in color, may be eaten, and during a meal they emit a nice aroma of fresh bread. Our ecological dishes are made from wheat bran which are pressed under high pressure and high temperature. After use they made be put to compost or processed into farm animal feed. If they are thrown to the ground they undergo decomposition becoming a natural compost. Mixed with other waste on the garbage heap they magnify its decomposition.
The disposable wheat bran dishes were very successful on the Expo 2000 Fair in Hanover, praised by ecologists, they received three awards.
It's time to put ecology to use. Put to use our disposable wheat bran dishes. Put them on your table!
They are PZH certified. Suitable for dry meals. May be stored indefinitely in dry conditions.

Who does not love fields of thick, waving carpet of wheat? Who does not love the Mother Earth giving us grains each year? Grain is indeed the beginning of bread and the bread - the beginning of life. But everything in grain is worthy, not only flower for baking bread and we are those who take everything of it. BRAN is a natural grain container. It became the only material used in production of biodegradable dishes. Biodegradability, durability and endurance should be the major features of temporary disposable dishes. These features are also advantages of product called BIOTREM. Apart from that BIOTREM is so light, natural and environmentally friendly that in the last phase of use it comes back into symbiosis with the environment. BIOTREM is taken out of environment and comes back to it without any by-products because it is fully biodegradable.
Up for today bran, being a by-product of flower have had a narrow application. They were used mainly as an addition to fodder and for a small scale in food industry. But it turns out that bran - so light, healthy and natural - can also be used as the only material to product plats and other containers instead of plastic or polystyrene. Something that is natural, strong and at the same time light, of very aesthetic look, seeming tasty while looked at - that is what we call BIOTREM. BIOTREM is a product for today and for tomorrow - it is just as modern as our clients are.
We use only bran to product our BIOTREM. This product, made of pure bran, is then an organic substance derived from plants. We decided to focus on ecology because by helping the environment we help ourselves. We are sure that our natural word likes BIOTREM.
BIOTREM is a variety of disposable plats, bowls, and other dishes. They can be used to serve both cold and hot meals. They can take the major place on your table and create its delicious look and more delicious taste of your food thanks to its Eco-values. There is a wide variety of its usage: individual clients, restaurants and other points of group nutrition, pharmaceutical and food industry.
To get the material that is used to product BIOTREM we do not have to contaminate the water, soil or air. Nowadays many people come back to traditional containers that can be used many times arguing that they are most environmentally friendly. That is true but here we have good news - BIOTREM containers are few times less troublesome for environment even than those dishes.
We are able to produce enough BIOTREM containers to reduce visibly the number of dangerous plastic waste (mainly polystyrene and polypropylene), contamination of water and air pollution. It is possible if there would be less plastic produced and because the technology of production of BIOTREM is - on contrary to plastic containers - fully environmentally friendly.
We should then expect some more aesthetic values than that nice appearance of product itself. Even after throwing BIOTREM away there is no harm to the wood, meadow, waterside etc made. BIOTREM just suits with the nature - this is what users of BIOTREM already appreciate. It also has suitable attests from Polish Institute of Hygiene.
This is possible because the technology and techniques of BIOTREM disposable dishes utilisation have no by-effects: there is no final waste that would be impossible for utilisation. What is then the final product of utilisation process? It is only natural dung that comes back to the field being at the same time the beginning of BIOTREM. Such a way of utilisation is made possible mainly by homogeneity of BIOTREM.
It is also important that this production will take place in the region called Green Lugs of Poland. All what was said is the reason why local Voivodeship supports the investment motion concerning the building of technological lines for disposable dishes BIOTREM production, that is being realised by Jerzy Wysocki's Mill - Production and Trade.
The History of Family Wysocki and their Mills
Milling tradition in the Family Wysocki dates back to the beginning of XX century, when Romuald Wysocki started the first mill in a town Mężenin. Unfortunately the First World War put an end to the firm.
In the year 1945, just after Poland was liberated from German occupation, building of next mill was started in a village Gać. Fabian Wysocki ran it successfully for many years. Nowadays the building of the mill, after complex restoration and modernisation is one of few water mills that are still in use. In the nineties the firm was dynamically developed, thanks to reconstruction and building mills in Zambrów and Giżycko. Their owner is a Fabian's son Jerzy, who decided to continue the tradition of his family. He created the firm called "Młyny Przemysłowo - Handlowe Jerzy Wysocki" (Jerzy Wysocki's Mills. Production and Trade). The area of its operation covers the ecologically clean region of northern - eastern Poland.
The mills that belong to Jerzy Wysocki are constructed due to European norms and produce more than 250 t. of different ready products per day. They are equipped with modern machines and employ highly qualified workers. We are proud to say that today The Mill is settled on tradition, many years of experiences, knowledge and hard work in harmony with nature.

Dear Sirs,
Wigry Lake National Park ordered at your firm 2.500 bowls made from wheat barn. We used it during a celebration of The Day of the Earth and now we would like to send you back our opinion concerning your product. It was the firs time we ever used such bowls and they turned out to be sensational. All of the festoon members were deeply interested in them.
The bowls played their role in a great way. We gave army pea - soup in them to the members (children, youths and adults). The bowls did not scald hands nor came off and after eating the soup people could even crunch them too. I must notice that most people took the bowls with them home - as a kind of souvenir - while usually after such meetings they are plenty of plastic, left scattered all around.
We are happy that such an interesting product has been developed and we hope that the assortment of the containers will enrich. We would like to assure you that we are going to use your product next time too.
We wish you many orders.
Sincerely yours

Dear Sirs,
We would like to thank you very much for sponsoring the Celebration of 35 years Jubilee of Gallery Arsenal.
Disposable plates that were produced by your firm fulfilled all our consumers' demands. At the same time they turned out to be superb decoration of special ceremonial table dressing.
Disposable plats woke vivid interest of our guests from Białystok - because they had known them from local media but saw for the firs time, while those from different towns had never before heard about ecological disposable dishes made from wheat bran.
We thank you once more and wish many successes.
Sincerely yours

A firm "Jerzy Wysocki's Mill. Production and Trade" from Zambrów requested us to analyse a project entitled "Production of biodegradable dishes from wheat bran called BIOTREM". After analysing the documentation concerning given project and many positive opinions that were added to it we came to following conclusions:
Program of described dishes production is an ecological investment in manufacturing new goods aiming at minimisation the amount of accompanying it waste on each step of the process. Realisation of this investment will lead to measurable ecological achievement by reducing the contamination of environment.
In our opinion accustoming this technology of production and enriching the market with the number of containers proposed by Jerzy Wysocki's firm will fruit with limiting use of traditional disposable dishes and containers.
Growth in manufacturing BIOTREM dishes will be enabled by frequent initiating exploitation new technology lines. Estimated time of finishing the investment is 30th of April 2002. Due to producers data the production per year will achieve 6912 tons of ready product. This is about 1378 million 240 thousand disposable containers like plates, trays, bowls etc. Assuming that this production is possible there is a real chance of replacing each year 1728 tons of plastic containers by the ones from bran.
It is worth adding here that technological process of production together with ready product (while correctly stored and used) fulfil all the sanitary and bacteriological standards It will be probably mostly used by snack bars and other group nutrition points, sugar and fruit - vegetable industry.
In our opinion both the idea and the way to realise it are worth recommendation mostly because the project is innovative and ecological
